Abstract

There has been a remarkable advancement in communications via the Internet over the past few years. Millions of people worldwide, with broad interests and knowledge, access the World Wide Web on a regular basis. This has led to a striking amount of information being placed and read in multiple web pages. Unfortunately, this information is unregulated and it is often inaccurate.1

There is a need to provide quality medical electronic publications that follow set standards for paper publications. 2,3,4 The objective of this Internet Journal is to fill this need within the areas of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology.

To assure so, the Editorial Board has been composed of a remarkable group of experts in the field, and all publications are peer reviewed. In addition, all articles are published according to the Uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to biomedical journals,5 set by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.
