Supplement II – IJMIST VOL III NO 4: Editorial Letter

On behalf of the Editorial Board of IJMIST, I would like to congratulate Dr. Tolgay Satana on his visionary effort in organizing the 2nd ISMISS Congress in Turkey on “Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MISS) and Interventional Treatment”, affiliated with the Turkey Spine Society. The Congress was held in the beautiful, ancient, and cultured metropolis of Istanbul, Turkey, at the cross roads of Asia and Europe.

Supplement II – IJMIST represents the current interventional minimally invasive spine surgery. The selected abstracts represent a broad spectrum of MIS technology and techniques at various stages of development and application. The authors of each abstract, the senior editors and editorial board of IJMIST are commended for their continuous leadership in the field of MISS. They have developed many of the MISS techniques and clinical applications described. This Congress demonstrated the importance of knowledge integration and international exchange in the advancement of MISS.

These selected abstracts from the 2nd ISMISS Congress in Turkey should contribute to the education, development and growth of MISS both in Turkey and around the world!
